Why I Hoard Random Receipts

Receipts have a mysterious way of multiplying and taking over my wallet or drawers. I tell myself I need them “just in case,” even though I rarely, if ever, use them. Somehow, keeping them feels like responsible adulting.

Over time, this habit turns into a treasure hunt for important papers buried under a mountain of useless slips. It’s chaotic, slightly embarrassing, but strangely satisfying proof that even small, pointless habits can feel oddly meaningful. Shutdown123
